Alexa?
I could have sworn we had some sort of deal with Amazon for Alexa to give a good pitch about Girl Scouts when you asked her about it. Did I imagine this? If we paid for something, we need our money back. Take a listen (and sorry about the dirty bookshelf):
Addendum: So right after I posted this, I did a search on Facebook because I thought that was where I originally read about this Alexa feature. Here is what I found from the GS of North-Central Alabama’s Facebook page:
So I went back to our Alexa and asked her to launch Girl Scouts. She said she didn’t know what I was talking about. So I guess this was only active during cookie time? Bummer. Regardless, we need to get the answers to the questions I asked fixed. Or maybe Alexa doesn’t like me like she obviously does the CEO of the North-Central Alabama council. Maybe she was just playing games with me. I’m not laughing, Alexa. Who wants to write the strongly worded letter to Amazon?
BTW, how do I get one of those sweatshirts KP is wearing?
I’m less worried about Alexa, and more interested where I can get a copy of that GirlTalk book. I don’t have that one in my girls’ vintage library. 😀
You don’t have to send a letter to Amazon, you can become a volunteer editor for Wikipedia and then put in the correct information about Girl Scouts as she really only quoted from Wikipedia.
Well, I went to WikiHow since that’s where Alexa said she got the info from. But it looks like it’s correct for the most part, so I’m not sure where she’s picking up her info. https://www.wikihow.com/Become-a-Girl-Scout
