Kinda Sorta Maybe OFFICIAL Scarves!

If you’ve followed this blog for even a short period of time, you might have noticed that there’s some kind of weird obsession thing going on with OFFICIAL scarves.  There is a background story to it if you’re so inclined to find out what the deal is with it.  Well, I am not the only one who has an affinity for OFFICIAL scarves!  The OFFICIAL Scarf Showcase! clocks in at #12 when it comes to total views on the GSWAC (Not a Council) blog, so it’s obviously one of the more popular posts!

One of the later additions to The OFFICIAL Scarf Showcase! was a gallery of OFFICIAL scarves created by various councils.  Or are they truly OFFICIAL since they’re not released by GSUSA?   As the UNOFFICIAL OFFICIAL keeper of OFFICIAL scarves, I declare they are, and they shall henceforth be known as Council’s Own OFFICIAL scarves.  So go forth and release those Council’s Own OFFICIAL scarves, councils!  You have my full blessing!  These had better not go the way of Council’s Own badges or there will be another strongly worded letter headed GSUSA’s way.  Just sayin’. 

Here’s the Council’s Own OFFICIAL Scarf Gallery which will be updated as more councils add to the collection.   Some are no longer available online.  Sad face.

    I just got a beautiful council specific scarf but was limited edition. I will take a picture later

    Hey! GSNCCP! What’s the deal? We just had a council wide administrative team (aka service team) day two weeks ago, and you did not feature this scarf in the store? With lighthouses on it?? Well, GSUSA Store gave me a very hard time ordering it with lots of error codes, which I ignored, so maybe the scarf is ordered. Thanks for the heads up!

    Hrumph! The scarf is not in the council store! In fact, virtually everything leads you back to GSUSA store.

    I tried to find the scarf from Citrus to order but I can not find it. Is it still available?

      It looks like it’s no longer available online. Maybe you can call the council office?

        I did email them and they said it is available. Just not sure where to find to buy it.

          They can’t sell it to you directly over the phone?

            They didn’t say. I suppose that could be the way to order it. Of course, can’t do anything Monday because it’s a holiday but Tuesday or after I could probably do over the phone. I think they said they just got done with inventory and some other things
